Peak-bagging field record · since your first hike

How many peaks
have you bagged?

Cims scans every GPS track in your Strava history, cross-checks it against every named summit on OpenStreetMap, and builds your lifetime peak-bagging record. Hikes, trail runs, ski tours, rides — all of it.

Questions, answered

Do I need a paid Strava subscription?

No. Any Strava account works, including free ones. If your activities are on Strava, Cims can count your summits.

Which watches and apps work?

All of them, as long as they sync to Strava: Garmin, Suunto, Coros, Polar, Apple Watch, or the Strava app itself.

How do you decide that I've bagged a summit?

Your GPS track has to pass within 100 m of a named summit from OpenStreetMap — and not more than 60 m below it, so walking around the base of a mountain doesn't count. Detected a false summit anyway? Remove it with one click.

Is my data safe?

We ask Strava for read-only access: we can never post, modify or share anything. Your data is only used to build your own palmarès, and you can delete your account — and everything with it — anytime with one button.

What happens after the first sync?

The first sync analyzes your whole history and can take a few minutes. After that, updates take seconds.
